Darlington Historic Racing Festival Darlington on Labor Day...you can't get more traditional than that. What a wonderful event, everyone had a great time and it was so cool to see the "original" stock cars on the track again. Click here to enter photo gallery.

2008 Vacation Photos

We had decided to take a Route 66 vacation, but with the gas prices steadily on the rise and unpredictable weather out west, we decided to take a tour of old racetracks and hit some of dad's old stomping grounds. I wanted to visit some of the race shops and dad wanted to visit old friends, so we topped off the RV (above) and set off on our journey. Click on any of the links below for a journal of our trip - Enjoy!

Celebrating Birthdays on May 28 Has Become A Tradition For Marvin and Ray Fox

The Boys started celebrating their birthdays a bit early this year. First they helped Ruby Duches celebrate on Friday, then Marvin and Ray and 50 friends celebrated at Panchos Rancho while watching the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600. The next Saturday was yet another cake and party at the Living Legends of Auto Racing Museum where the guys had time to catch up with old friends. Marvin Celebrates the 50th Running of the Daytona 500

Preperations for this historic event started at the 2008 running of the July 4th race in Daytona. Click here to view some pictures from this past July's event.

Marvin was also selected to throw out the first pitch of the Tampa Bay Rays baseball game during NASCAR night on June 22, 2007. We're happy to announce that Marvin did the racing profession proud actually completing the throw to the catcher with better accuracy than some of the younger racers as evident in these photos.

Dad's car was also feaured at The Daytona 500 Experience - click here for photos

Dave Despain Make sure you check out Dave Despain's latest installment of "Dave Despain on Assignment" on Speed TV for a look at Marvin's Pontiac once again taking a lap at DIS. For a behind the scenes look click here.

New Smyrna Quarter Midgets Marvin was invited to be the Grand Marshal at the Little New Smyrna 500 hosted by the Little New Smyrna Quarter Midget Racing Association. What a wonderful time - their are a lot of good little drivers out there and the barbeque was delicious! Dad enjoys talking to the younger drivers Click here to view photo gallery

Truck Maintenance Council Marvin has had a long relationship with the truck fleet industry and has always enjoyed attending the Truck Maintenance Council yearly conference. Click here for photos of 2005 TMC
